Al-Dulaimi's first peace ambassador for 2025 Peace for International Development Organization Grants MP Dr. Sara Al-Dulaimi the Title of “International Ambassador of Peace” for Her Remarkable Efforts in Human Rights and Social Justice Baghdad – In a unanimous decision, the General Secretariat of the Peace for International Development Organization (PIDO) has awarded Iraqi Parliament Member Dr. Sara Latif Al-Dulaimi the honorary title of “International Ambassador of Peace”. This recognition comes as a tribute to her outstanding efforts in promoting community peace, human rights, and public service through legislative and fieldwork. The International Ambassador of Peace certificate is awarded by PIDO to influential public figures, humanitarian leaders, and civil advocates who demonstrate distinguished contributions to peacebuilding, coexistence, and social equity across their communities. It is considered one of the organization’s highest honorary distinctions. Dr. Al-Dulaimi, a Member of Parliament representing Baghdad, is widely known for her strong humanitarian stance. As a member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, she played a key role in implementing general amnesty laws, overseeing the release of detainees, including 38 prisoners from Babylon Central Prison. She also carried out field visits to public institutions in the Tarmiyah District, ensuring oversight and meeting the real needs of the people. The Secretary-General of PIDO emphasized that the decision to honor Dr. Al-Dulaimi was based on detailed reports and recommendations from specialized committees, who documented her dedicated service in both the legal and humanitarian fields.
