The Secretary-General discusses the decision of the Shura Council before declaring its approval In reference to the recent decision of the Shura Council to cancel the fixed salary system and approve wages based on actual working hours, the Secretary-General of the Peace Organisation for International Development would like to inform all concerned that the decision is currently under discussion with the competent authorities within the organisation before taking any steps to implement it. All aspects of the decision are currently being reviewed and its possible implications for business performance and the financial system within the organisation are being evaluated. The Secretary-General is keen to ensure that the resolution is implemented in the best possible way, in the interest of the Organisation and its staff, and takes into account the observations of all parties concerned. A meeting will be organised with managers and officials in all departments and offices to discuss the decision in detail and ensure that all the necessary resources and infrastructure are available to implement it successfully. After these discussions are completed and the results are evaluated, the final decision on the implementation of the decision will be made and everyone will be notified of any amendments or updates.
